Just a little info about us...
Jonathan Mazarelli...
I was born and raised in Carneys Point, New Jersey. Got baptized in Buckingham Assembly Hall in Pennsylvania in 1989. I finished high school and began pioneering in 1995. My family moved to Florida shortly after, and there I decided to move to one of the Spanish congregations. We moved back to NJ, but I then moved to one of the local congregations in Delaware in 1998.
Veronica Mazarelli...
I was born in the Bronx, New York. My family moved to New Jersey when I was nine. I was baptized in 1994 at the Stanley Assembly Hall. We then moved to Delaware in 1995. I finished high school and began pioneering in 1998.
We met later that year... and married in the summer of 2000.
We moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2003. It's a great city to live in. Now we're ready for a new adventure!!
Keilani was born in 2002. She dedicated her life to Jehovah and was baptized August 2, 2014 at the International Convention in Atlanta, Georgia. She was 12 years old. She has already accomplished one of her goals; of becoming a regular pioneer. She started in January, 2017. She graduated high school "Quarantine style" in summer 2020. She's working on pioneering and has goals to work in Ramapo, NY when the construction begins.
Raquel was born in 2007. She became an unbaptized publisher in April of 2014 at the age of 6. At that time she was publisher number 100 in our congregation (Antioch Spanish, Nashville, TN). She got baptized on Saturday, July 27 at the "Amor Nunca Falla" (Love Never Fails) convention in Santiago, Dominican Republic. She was 12 years old. Her goal (right now) is to live and work in Bethel. She is also learning Korean and wants to get better in the language and visit Korea.
As a family we decided that we were ready to serve Jehovah more fully. We took the 'plunge', so to speak, in June, 2016. We served in Samana for five months. It was the hardest, best time of our lives!!
We came back to the states in December, 2016 and prayed real hard about it... and decided to go back to the DR and serve in another area. The girls liked living in DR, but Samana wasn't the place for them. We moved to Puerto Plata June, 2017. We had to come back to the states in February, 2018... but returned. We are now back in Puerto Plata - to stay! We came back in September, 2018. Even though we want to go back to the states to visit family, we are taking the Covid-19 precautions seriously and won't be traveling anytime soon.
We, Jon, Veronica & Keilani, serve as regular pioneers in El Javillar congregation in Javillar, Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. We are having an amazing time!!
