Can anyone believe it?
I thank Jehovah for another great year to be His servant. We have accomplished some great things and had some not so great things happen... even still, we had several great experiences in the ministry, countless "Taco Friday's", an empanada night, a few Game Nights, visitors from the states, "Unfailing Love"... at the convention and unfailing love shown to us so many times, Raquel's baptism (and start of her regular auxiliary pioneering), Pioneer Service School... and we continue to move forward and can't wait to see what will happen next.
These last few pictures give you a little taste of how the year ended.
October, 2019:
Two new elders were appointed in our congregation (not sure if I mentioned that before). So now we have 6 elders... and even less space for them to huddle in a corner for their 'meetings after the meeting'!
Kingdom Hall cleaning day
Circuit Assembly Day
... and hanging out with our friends
November, 2019
We visited the girls honorary grandparents in Bavaro, Ben and Carol Williams. We absolutely love spending time with them.
We also got together with some of the young ones in our congregation and had an afternoon of singing. It was a very nice experience.
November 9th was an amazing day for sure. We received our revised edition of the New World Translation in Spanish! (Look at those happy faces!!)
December, 2019
While many of you are freezing in the middle of winter... we head out for some tree climbing and beach days. #SorryNotSorry
Anyone else like the game Sequence? C'mon over! We'll play a game or two... or five.
We also had our Circuit Overseer visit in December. A visit from Frenchie and Doris Carlos is so refreshing. They are so loving and we are so happy to have them as part of our spiritual family. Leo and Angela Amor also came to visit our congregation with the Carlos'. What a wealth of spiritual knowledge they are! It was a double dose of Jehovah's love for us. We had an amazing time.
And of course, hanging out with friends. We introduced the Justo family to 'chicken and waffles'. I think it was a huge success!
