It sure has been some time since we've updated the blog. We've kept busy and just praying lots to Jehovah. Sometimes we get down and feel like we're never going to make it. But that is when Jehovah sends something or someone your way to remind you that you can do it.
That happened to us about six weeks ago. We had been feeling very discouraged and things were getting harder; and it felt like we'd never reach our goal. Then....
"I found this beautiful piece of paper this morning. I have no idea where it fell out from or how it got on the table.
This was the ticket for the bus ride from Santo Domingo to Samana. It was the best $7.38 we've ever spent. We've felt discouraged recently; just things are getting tougher to reach our goal... But seeing this piece of priceless paper, reminded me why we started this crazy adventure in the first place. It's just an old receipt to you, for bur us its so much more.

After a few minutes of posting the above picture, we had so many friends email, text and post messages of encouragement to us. One family that really helped us was Huggi Bear (Oso) - also living in Samana with his family as need greaters. I simply love all of Jehovah's people.
We're hoping things get moving along very soon. Can't wait!
So, in the mean time, we'd like to share a few pictures of what we've been doing. Just some pictures of our family and friends. Enjoy! And thanks for reading!!
