We have been keeping busy with just regular day to day things... but we've got lots on our minds.
Doing lots of research.... and getting ideas and talking with others. We want to be sure we do things correctly so we can serve legally in the congregation in DR. Thankfully we got in touch with a lawyer, who will be helping us get the process started.
And oh, what a process that is!!! We don't know exactly what it all entails, but just the things we need to get in order and what we need to have , takes a lot.
If your goal is to move to another country, don't let this part of the process scare you. It takes a lot, but I know it will all be worth it.
Here are a couple of tips that we are now figuring and finding out...
Of course we are not endorsing any one person, or way of doing things. But please, before doing anything, make sure you are informed. Just because one person or family are doing it one way, does not mean it's the only way to get it done and to do it correctly. So always be informed!!!
Then, don't get discouraged when, at one point or another, all you have to do is wait. Sometimes that's just what you have to do. Be patient.... It'll all come together soon enough.
These are just two things that I've noticed so far... and I'm sure we'll find out many more things soon :)
