We've had some wonderful days these last two months. And here is a little summary with quick details... and a couple good stories to share. May & June... Kingdom Halls! Reason #154 of why we need a new Kingdom Hall... Elders meetings in the corner! :) But we also know that when it's the right time, Jehovah will make it happen. Until then, we'll continue to pray... and the brothers will smush into a corner in the hall. (more pics in slide show) On another note.... one of the 'neighboring' congregations, in Cabarete (about an hour away) is building their very own, new Kingdom Hall! We are so happy and excited for them. Especially since our congregation has been assigned to help out with the construction. It's beautiful seeing Jehovah's people work hand in hand building a house for His worship. It's only been a couple weeks, but it looks beautiful (pictures in the slide show). Talking 'bout Goals! We always like to talk to the girls about always having goals and trying to reach out and do more for Jehovah. It was so exciting to see Sissy participate in the LDC training for our congregation. I think this small experience has opened her eyes to other things she can accomplish. So... we'll just put that right here :) So proud of our girl!! C/O Visit and Regional Convention We absolutely love it when the C/O visits. And this visit was no different!! It's a breath of fresh air when Frenchie and Doris Carlos visit. This last visit was double great since it included another couple that were in 'training'. We had a wonderful week with them. Here is a picture of the girls with Doris and another friend, who came to visit us, Kira. If you haven't had your "Love Never Fails" convention, you are in for a delight. Here are just a few group shots with some friends. We went to the English convention. Our convention is in July. Can't wait to go again!! Field Ministry The main reason we moved was to be able to participate more fully in the field ministry... teaching others. When we first moved in Javillar, I think it's safe to say we felt a little surprised. We thought "Such a small territory... how are we going to find people? We preach here every week, how will we find studies?" Every territory has its challenges. But Jehovah is who makes things grow... so anywhere there is someone who wants to learn more, our ministry will be productive. We all have studies who show their love for learning about Jehovah every day. And, even in small amounts... they do progress - which is the most important part. You've made it this far... might as well just scroll through the slide show :) |
